Why did you write this book?

There is Leadership Crisis and I am passionate about building great teams.
One in five workers describe their work environment as "miserable"
Two significant reasons people leave are "poor leadership" and "lack of recognition"

When did the idea of this book germinate and when did you write it?

This was written over the past twenty years as a culmination of my leadership experiences.
This book was completed in May 2024.

Hiring the right team members, building high-performing teams, nurturing and developing leaders and improving work relationships
Indıviduals, teams and organızations fail because of inaction and lack of accountability

What animal is that on the front cover?

Emus are one of only two animals who are famously unable to walk backward (also, the kangaroo)

Emus are a highly significant, sacred and totemic animal representing ancestors, self-sacrifice, responsibility and connection to the land
They are swift, curious, grounded, adaptable, adventurous, resilient, graceful and persistent
